“I must have flowers, always, and always.” Claude Monet

Bonjour !

I’m Laetitia, owner of Laetitia C. – fleurs d’atelier.
I am passionate about flowers, nature and art in all its forms.

After graduating in History of Art, I had the privilege of working on heritage projects for the National Trust in the UK. Life then took me to New Zealand and it is in that beautiful country, where nature rules, that I trained as a florist.

A few years later, back in my own country of France, in the beautiful region of Provence, I decided to turn my childhood dream into reality: in 2003, my floral design studio was born.
Not a shop but a studio, where I can dedicate my full attention to my clients and future newlyweds or their wedding planners (the name ‘fleurs d’atelier’ meaning ‘florals from the studio’ in French).

I have always been drawn to flowers.
As a child, I used to watch in wonder as my grandmother, mother and aunts composed inspired bouquets with flowers from their own gardens with that effortless, ‘just picked’ look.
Beyond their mesmerising beauty, it is the scent of flowers that originally led me to this journey. From as early as I can remember, I would catch the lingering trail of lilac, jasmine, flowering lime tree or garden rose, and decided that flowers had to be my daily companions, somehow.

I believe that flowers look their absolute best when they are not overly manipulated and when their beauty, texture, subtle colours and movement can express itself freely.

My designs feel lush, natural and organic, yet they have a timeless understated elegance.
My two biggest inspirations are the English country gardens and the untamed Provence countryside I live and work in.
I try to offer a mix of both worlds, the British love for nature and organic florals and gardens and a little bit of that French ‘je ne sais quoi’!

Whether I am providing floral designs for an intimate dinner, a large wedding or a corporate event, I work closely with each client to provide the finest attention to detail and create a bespoke design that is entirely their own, integrating their unique vision, taste and story.

I work with suppliers who provide the finest quality and range of beautiful blooms, sourced from all around the world if needed and, whenever possible, I support local growers and always work with the seasons.
Nature being my most cherished inspiration and teacher, I try my best to prioritise sustainability when sourcing my material and in each phase of my work (foam free as much as possible, waste reduction, composting, recycling).

If you think I might be the right fit for you and you would like to find out more, please contact me, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

Bienvenue !

Laetitia
